Air India’s Talent Augmentation Programme Gains Remarkable Response
Air India, India's largest airline, has revealed unprecedented interest in its talent augmentation programme, Vihaan.AI, which is a key pillar of its five-year transformation roadmap.
Highlights
- The airline's aggressive expansion plan, which has already resulted in the return of 17 long-grounded aircraft and the lease-in of 30 narrow- and wide-body aircraft over the next 12 months, necessitates a significant increase in flying crew.
- In the last two months, over 1,752 applications for pilots and 72,000 applications for cabin crew have been received and are being reviewed.
