Airbus Reports Third-quarter Net Profits of €667 Million, a 65% Increase
The Covid-19 epidemic has caused problems with suppliers, but Airbus still plans to deliver over 700 aircraft in 2022, including more than 260 in the final three months of the year.
Highlights
- Gross commercial aircraft orders increased to 856 (9m 2021: 270 aircraft) with net orders of 647 aircraft after cancellations
- On the A320 Family programme, production is progressing towards a monthly rate of 65 aircraft in early 2024 and 75 in 2025.
- On the A400M programme, development activities continue towards achieving the revised capability roadmap.
