Emirates and Air Canada Sign Codeshare Agreement

Eligible passengers will also soon be able to take advantage of reciprocal lounge access, along with select benefits for Aeroplan Elite and Skywards members when travelling on the partner airline. Further details and launch dates will be announced at a later date.

Customers of Emirates and Air Canada will be able to travel to 46 destinations in North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
When traveling with both airlines, frequent flier members of Skywards and Aeroplan will soon be able to accrue and redeem points or miles.
With the issuing of a single ticket and baggage transfers to the destination, the customer experience has been improved.

Emirates and Air Canada made the start of their codeshare agreement official. Through their collaboration, the carriers’ customers will be able to travel conveniently to 46 markets across three continents, including those in America, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. Beyond Toronto, Emirates customers who want to book codeshare flights will have access to Canadian cities like Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, and Vancouver. When travelling to destinations in the Middle East like Jeddah and Muscat, Southeast Asian cities like Bangkok, Hanoi, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore, as well as African cities like Addis Abeba and Dar es Salaam, customers of Air Canada will also profit from seamless connectivity.
