Virgin Atlantic Takes Delivery of Its First A330neo, Marking the Airline’s 50th Airbus Aircraft
Virgin Atlantic becomes the first operator of the type in the UK. The A330neo is powered by Rolls Royce Trent 7000 engines and configured to accommodate 262 passengers in three classes.
Virgin Atlantic, Britain’s flag carrier, has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330neo aircraft (A330 – 900) leased from Air Lease Corporation (ALC). The A330neo aircraft will play a crucial role in the company’s fleet transformation, marking the 50th Airbus aircraft for the UK-based airline.
